Buccaneers

A full range of IP68 rated robust environmentally sealed circular connectors (including ExPlora ATEX Zone 2 connectors) with a wide choice of alternatives from 2 to 25 poles, BNC connections and screw, solder or crimp terminations. The Data Buccaneer range includes designs for Ethernet, USB, Mini USB, SMB and FireWire applications. Ethernet Buccaneer meets Cat 5e requirements for data rates up to 100 Mbit/s.

Series 6000 Buccaneer

Robust, instant connections for harsh environments

The circular connectors of the Series 6000 Buccaneer combine the ease of use of a push/pull coupling mechanism with proven environmental sealing. The product range covers metal and plastic bodies and supports data (USB or Ethernet) as well as signal and mains power applications. Designed and independently tested to protection degrees IP66, IP68 and IP69K, they are ideal for applications where ingress of dust and water must be avoided and where ease of connection, space and appearance are important considerations.
Buccaneers

A full range of IP68 rated environmentally sealed circular connectors to provide secure and safe connections under harsh conditions. This range has now been complemented by the new EXPlora connector family, approved for ATEX Zone 2 applications.

The Power Buccaneer range consists of the miniature 400 Series, Mini, Standard and the 900 Series. Each range has a flex cable connector, in-line flex cable connector and panel mounting connector options. These products can be provided with a wide choice of alternatives from 2 to 25 poles, BNC connections and screw, solder or crimp terminations.
The Data Buccaneer range includes designs for Ethernet, USB, Mini USB, SMB and FireWire applications. Ethernet Buccaneer meets Cat 5e requirements for data rates up to 100 Mbs. USB and Mini USB Buccaneer is designed to meet USB version 2.0 specification for data rates up to 480 Mbs, SMB Buccaneer has a frequency response up to 4 GHz and FireWire Buccaneer meets IEEE1394a performance up to 400 Mbs.
