The Portable Power Unit (PPU1215) is a light, rugged (IP65), rechargeable system aimed to supply energy for first aid operations. In many situations there is the need to support electrical medical equipment remotely from any power source. PPU1215 can supply 70W @12V for >2.5 hours. It can be used to power heat pads (e.g. on remote tracks in sky accidents, in order to avoid hypothermia) or other apparatus that accepts 12VDC. PPU1215 can be recharged by any normal AC source (90-264Vac) by use of the integrated charger.
